KOV takes pride in offering an all-inclusion krewe that is truly accepting without a hidden cost or agenda.
We take spending time with girlfriends, integrity and partying seriously, which is why we have an entire Krewe based on exactly that. We are committed to full transparency, celebrating together and living unapologetically!

Our History

Voodoo Vixens started out recently (Feb 2024) as a small single-float group of 12 ladies in the all-female krewe of Antheia in Slidell that quickly (just a few months) grew to over 40 members. Making it very apparent that "Vixens Just Wanna Have Fun"! And while it was fun it was also, like most krewes - very costly and honestly not very empowering or supportive...

So we split from antheia and vowed to bannish all the extra fees and the hidden cost not disclosed at sign-up. We made it our mission to give members everything and more for free while leveling up the sisterhood, inclusion, and voodoo vibes of dispelling all the bad juju and mean girl mentality along the way!

Our Mission: Unapologetically Us

Voodoo Vixens were founded on the mission statement Everything Included. It is something we live by every day, at every level. We welcome endless diversity, celebrate it and applaud originality. We are our raw true-authentic selves. We accept everything in others and ourselves and seek to learn from each other; knowing that everyone has value to add and innovation to be discovered!

It's no secret that this time of year is too short and ends too soon for many, so we try to make it last by booking a hotel

and carrying it over to the next day too
